Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
• 12-hour day shifts from 8:45 AM to 8:15 PM
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only
• No RTO permitted on weekends
• 36 hours offered per week
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• Daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms
• Typical caseload for one tech in a 12-hour shift is approximately 15-20 patients
• Work in a very fast-paced emergency department environment performing routine ED scans, Code Stroke, and Level II trauma cases
• Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Treat patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must be proficient with Siemens FORCE scanner - do not apply without Siemens FORCE experience
• GE scanner experience also required
• Preferred skills include outpatient experience, IV starts, PACS, contrast administration, and Visage
• Charting system: Epic and Visage
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
Facility:
This is a large 650-bed facility that has recently achieved Level II Trauma designation. The emergency department operates around the clock and is equipped with Siemens FORCE scanners as well as GE imaging equipment. The unit runs multiple shifts with varying staffing levels, from 4-5 technologists on first shift to 1 technologist on third shift, supporting a high-volume imaging environment that handles a broad range of complex and emergent cases.
