Opportunity:
T Technologist
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday
• Outpatient focus with outpatient experience required
• 13-week contract duration
• Perform diagnostic quality CT procedures in a safe manner following ARRT guidelines
• Operate GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging equipment — experience with both required
• Epic charting experience is a hard stop requirement
• Must possess strong IV skills including starting peripheral IVs
• Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, cardiac, vascular, and musculoskeletal studies
• Perform 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Perform biopsies, myelography, enterography, and colorectal studies
• Work with patient age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
• Must be licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) in radiography (pending okay)
• Must be licensed in CT by the OBMI or registered in CT by the ARRT
• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification from the AHA required within 90 days of hire
Facility:
This healthcare facility operates a busy imaging department with four CT rooms handling approximately 190 patient visits per day. The department provides outpatient-focused diagnostic imaging services and is supported by a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and interpretation services. The facility maintains modern GE and Toshiba/Canon imaging equipment and supports a wide range of CT procedures across all patient age groups.
