Opportunity:
CT Tech
Job Details:
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:45 PM to 8:15 AM
• Weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only
• No RTO permitted on weekends
• 36 hours offered per week
• No call requirement
• No float requirement
• Daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms
• Typical caseload for one tech in a 12-hour shift is 15-20 patients
• Work in the emergency department performing routine ED patient scans, Code Stroke, and Level II trauma cases
• Very fast-paced environment
• CT procedures include: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Patients include infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must be proficient with Siemens Scanner (FORCE model) and GE — Siemens FORCE experience is required
• Preferred skills include: IV starts, PACS, contrast administration, and Visage
• Charting system: EPIC and Visage
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
Facility:
This is a large 650-bed hospital operating at Level II Trauma designation, featuring a high-volume emergency department equipped with advanced imaging technology including Siemens FORCE and GE scanners. The facility supports a wide range of specialties and serves a diverse patient population across all age groups. The imaging department operates around the clock with multiple technologists on staff, providing critical diagnostic support for emergency and trauma care.
