Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2489.32
Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 6-week scheduling managed by a scheduler
• Every 3rd weekend required with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (night weekends are Fridays and Saturdays)
• Holiday rotation with permanent staff
• Float to PCU or MedSurg may be required
• Patient ratio of 1:2, occasionally 1:3 in a 16-bed ICU unit
• Common diagnoses include a variety of ICU acuity patients including vented patients, BIS scoring, TTM, and IABP
• RNs required to titrate drips including vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, and insulin
• Charge nurse present on each shift
• eICU support available in 14 rooms
• Charting system: EPIC
• 2 orientation shifts (12 hours each) on the unit following classroom orientation
• Pass/Fail open book exam required during orientation with a minimum score of 90% required to pass
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• BSN not required
• Requesting time off must be submitted upfront (7 or fewer days per 13-week contract); additional time off will not be approved

This acute care facility operates a 16-bed intensive care unit providing high-acuity patient care with eICU support available in 14 rooms. The unit is supported by a dedicated scheduling team and charge nurses on every shift, with access to hospitalist and intensivist support. The facility values collaborative, team-oriented nursing professionals who are committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a dynamic critical care environment.
