Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU setting with a patient ratio of 1:2, occasionally 1:3
• Manage a variety of high-acuity ICU patients including ventilated patients, BIS scoring, TTM, and IABP cases
• Titrate drips including vasopressors/inotropes, sedatives, heparin, octreotide, and insulin
• Collaborate with charge nurses, eICU support staff, and interdisciplinary team members each shift
• Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed based on unit demands
• Adhere to weekend rotation requirements (every 3rd weekend; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule) and holiday rotation with permanent staff

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Ability to successfully pass a unit-specific open-book skills exam with a minimum score of 90% during orientation
• Compliance with facility fingernail policy: artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience caring for ventilated patients and managing titratable drips in an ICU environment
• Familiarity with BIS monitoring, TTM protocols, and IABP management
• Strong teamwork orientation with a positive, collaborative approach to patient care challenges
