Opportunity:

CT Technologist

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour day shifts per week
• Shift hours: 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Friday through Sunday schedule
• 1 year of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications required
• RT-R-CT certification required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Procedural experience required
• Experience with iSTATs, Power Ports, and PACs required
• Patient ratio: 5 patients on days, 4 patients on nights, 3 patients on weekends
• Perform CT imaging including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, spine, and vascular studies
• Perform 3D rendering including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Conduct specialized procedures including biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) required
• Preparation and administration of contrast media required
• Starting peripheral IVs required
• PPAC and iSTAT creatinine experience required; training available if necessary
• Radiation safety knowledge required
• Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work with special equipment including Siemens 64 Definition Somatom AS and Siemens 128 x.cite
• Support interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a well-equipped medical center offering a broad range of diagnostic and procedural imaging services. The facility operates a high-volume CT department seeing approximately 75 patients per day with a daily census of 105 CPTs across 3 imaging rooms. The organization treats a diverse patient population including cancer patients, bariatric, orthopedic, trauma, stroke, general, and geriatric cases, and maintains robust interdisciplinary support services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
