Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Shift hours may vary between 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET experience required; position can be specific to PET or general Nuclear Medicine (no cardiac at this time)
• Required certifications: CNMT or NMTCB (not both required); PET certification preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred; Pyxis also used on unit
• Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
• Every other weekend shift required unless otherwise specified
• Weekend call required: 1 weekend per month
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off per contract; all RTO must be finalized at time of submission
• Holiday work expected: if 1–2 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work all of them; if 3 major holidays fall within assignment period, traveler is expected to work 2 of them
• Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
• 16 orientation hours required
• Block scheduling type
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Interpretation Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
