Opportunity:

PET Technologist

Job Details:

• Work 5x8-hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM and varying end times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
• No holiday shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to work on Saturdays up to twice a month if needed due to camera downtime or excessive backlog
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Perform PET/CT scans and a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including bone scans, brain scans, cardiac imaging, HIDA scans, renal scans, and whole body scans
• Work with patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Experience with Siemens scanners required
• Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs and drawing venous blood required
• Proper storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials required
• Level 1 and Level II trauma experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Radiation badge required and MUST be provided by agency
• Dress code: Teal top and black pants
• Parking is free during nights and weekends; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass otherwise
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Block schedule may be accommodated with prior approval, but not guaranteed
• Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT), and SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography
