Opportunity:
PET Technologist
Job Details:
• Work 5x8-hour shifts with varying start times between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM and varying end times between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM
• No holiday shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend coverage may be required on Saturdays up to twice a month if needed due to camera downtime or excessive backlog
• No floating between service lines or sister facilities required
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Perform PET/CT scans including a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures across patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Experience with Siemens scanner equipment required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Scrub color: Teal top and black pants
• Parking cost applies nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Level 1 and Level 2 trauma experience preferred
• Block schedule requests must receive prior approval and are not guaranteed
• Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N), NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(R) or ARRT(CT), and SCRQSA State License in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and supports a wide range of imaging and nuclear medicine services.
