Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 3 shifts per week Monday through Friday
• Weekend shifts and/or call required as needed, approximately 1 to 2 weekends per month
• Holidays and weekends required when needed
• No block scheduling guaranteed
• Must have experience circulating in all surgical areas including craniotomies, laparoscopic cases, and endovascular procedures (excluding CV Surgery)
• Required surgical specialty experience includes endovascular, general, orthopedic, neuro, GYN, urology, and robotics
• Patient ratio is 1:4 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float within skill set required as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and NIHSS
• Epic experience within the last 12 months is required and must be clearly documented on profile including where it was utilized
• Must pass Epic competency exam; only one attempt allowed
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Required skills include but are not limited to: craniotomy, laparoscopic assisted cases, total joint replacement, robotic surgery (gynecologic, orthopedic, urologic, neurological, colorectal, gastrointestinal), general OR, laminectomy/discectomy, open and closed reduction of fractures, Whipple procedure, thyroidectomy, and prostatectomy

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a large surgical services organization operating 42 rooms and beds with a daily census of 100 patients. The facility provides a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, craniotomies, laparoscopic procedures, orthopedics, GYN, urology, and robotics. Interdisciplinary support services include IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The facility serves patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
