Job Details:

• Must be open to all shift times as specific shift requests cannot be accommodated
• Self-schedule based on seniority
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Weekend requirement may exceed every other weekend to meet unit need
• No on-call required
• No floating between units required
• Facility may call off once every two-week pay period
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Community hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, CA CRT, CT (ARRT CT or ARRT R accepted)
• California license must be in hand prior to start
• Charting system: Epic
• Free parking available
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Must be proficient with GE and Toshiba CT scanners (1 64-slice Toshiba Aquilion and 1 64-slice GE Lightspeed)
• Required skills include: abdomen with/without contrast, chest with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, pelvis with/without contrast, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, PACS, preparation and administration of contrast media, and more
• Treats patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Very busy department serving mostly emergency department patients with some outpatients
• High-volume primary stroke receiving center
• Transport support is available, but technologists are encouraged to assist when needed
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

This acute care hospital operates with 212 total staffed beds and provides a wide range of medical services across multiple departments. The facility features a high-volume CT department that serves as a primary stroke receiving center, supporting both emergency and outpatient imaging needs. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support comprehensive diagnostic care.
