Opportunity:

PT - Orthopedic Outpatient Hand Therapy

Job Details:

• Work in an orthopedic outpatient hand therapy clinic providing 1:1 patient care with one 45-minute appointment every hour
• Perform appropriate evaluation tests and measurements based on patient diagnosis
• Develop treatment plans and reassess and revise every 12 visits or earlier based on patient progress
• Administer physical therapy techniques and modalities appropriate to each diagnosis
• Document progress reports in a timely manner to coincide with physician follow-up visits and assist with insurance authorization and reimbursement
• Interact with all hospital departments and medical staff across inpatient and outpatient services
• Minimum of one year of physical therapy experience preferred
• Experience in hand therapy required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program and hold a valid California Physical Therapy license
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred
• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
