Opportunity:
Flex RN - Float
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation
• No guarantee of hours
• Float between various medical and surgical units including Medical Unit, Laulima (Surgical Acute) Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
• Nurse to patient ratios vary by unit: Medical 1:6 for days and evenings, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4 (ratios may vary due to unexpected leaves)
• Bed size by unit: Medical - 77 beds; Laulima - 18 beds; Cardiovascular Unit - 15 beds
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• Perform general medical and surgical nursing duties across multiple units
• Orientation time provided for each unit
• Professional nursing attire required - clean scrubs
• 2-10 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC
• Active Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment
