Opportunity:
RN - Float Pool
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation
• No guarantee of hours
• Float between various medical and surgical units including Medical Unit, Laulima (Surgical Acute) Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions)
• Nurse to patient ratios vary by unit: Medical 1:6 for days and evenings, 1:8 for nights; Laulima 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4 (ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves)
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes
• Minimum 2-10 years of experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC
• Active Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment
• Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs required
