Opportunity:

Operating Room RN

Job Details:

• 12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 2-3 weekend shifts required per month
• On-call required: Day shift call with 24-36 hours of call per month
• 3 years of experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Circulator experience required
• Neuro and trauma experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certification: BLS
• Charting system: Cerner
• Purple scrubs provided by facility
• No parking fee
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• 18 operating rooms
• Top service lines: Trauma, Neuro, and Ortho with additional need in Cardiovascular
• No floating required
• Pre-approved time off: up to 1 occurrence; requests greater than 7 days require approval
• No RTO during first 7 days of contract or last day of contract
• Facility may call off up to 3 times during a 13-week assignment

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital that also operates as a children's hospital providing short-term acute care services. With 554 staffed beds and 18 operating rooms, the facility supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties including trauma, neurosciences, orthopedics, and cardiovascular services.
