Opportunity:

MRI Technologist - Full-Time

Job Details:

• Full-time position working 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Scheduled shifts on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday
• Variable shifts may be required based on census needs
• Holiday coverage required via call and may be asked to assist during holidays
• Perform MRI procedures including using and building imaging protocols
• Screen patients for contraindications and follow safety requirements per ACR and facility protocols
• Interview and educate patients on MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and courtesy
• Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and requesting removal of hazardous metal objects
• Monitor patients visually and verbally at all times during procedures
• Operate additional equipment necessary for daily duties and patient care
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to promote safety for patients and coworkers
• Maintain and report on equipment status and help monitor inventory
• Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients including geriatric, pediatric, and general population
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Associate's Degree or Certificate from a two-year college, university, or certificate-based program required
• ARRT registration required
• BCLS certification required within 4 months of hire and must be maintained thereafter
