Opportunity:
Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech
Job Details:
• Day shift position with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
• 2 Cath Lab rooms
• Perform procedures including Pediatric/Adult Transplant, Right/Left Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement
• May also include Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures, preferably pediatric
• Experience with cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult and pediatric/neonatal), and Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) required
• Primary patient population includes congenital heart patients and heart cath procedures
• Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred; EP experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and either CCI with RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Charting system: EPIC
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called-off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
• Parking cost applies on nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
• Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September

The facility operates a Pediatric Cath Lab with 2 rooms and provides specialized care for congenital heart patients, offering a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures. As a Magnet-designated institution, the facility is committed to excellence in nursing and clinical care standards across all departments.
