Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirements as needed to fill staffing needs
• Holiday requirements as needed to fill staffing needs
• No call or standby requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4 on a 27-bed telemetry unit (expanding to 37 beds in June)
• Must have 2 years experience as a telemetry nurse
• Required experience with cardiac drips, NIH stroke assessment, post cath recovery, and chest tube management
• Must have experience with TR bands and Fem stops (will not pull sheaths)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• BSN degree required
• Will float to like units and Med/Surg as needed, may also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
• May float to ICU if experienced
• Read and document telemetry strips every 6 hours using SpaceLab monitors (transitioning to Philips)
• Care for patients with CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, diabetes, CAD, renal failure, respiratory failure, pneumothorax, and post cath lab patients
• Work with common cardiac drips including set rate diltiazem and amiodarone
• Any scrub color allowed as long as clean, well-kept, and professional
• System onboarding plus 2 orientation shifts
• Use EPIC charting system
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility

The organization uses state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and is transitioning to advanced Philips monitoring systems while providing respiratory therapy support for complex patient needs.
