CT Tech Days

Job Details:

• Day shift position working in a 2-room CT department within a community hospital
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
• Operate two CT scanners (Siemens and Toshiba)
• Utilize Synapse PACS and Medrad Injectors
• Perform basic CT imaging; no advanced or cardiac imaging required
• High emergency department volume
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Cerner charting system experience preferred but not required
• Community hospital experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT Advanced Certification, Massachusetts State License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Required skills include: abdomen without and/or with contrast, chest without and/or with contrast, head without and/or with contrast, pelvis without and/or with contrast, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), musculoskeletal trauma, vascular CTA, myelography, CT arthrography, emergency department, starting peripheral IVs, and preparation and/or administration of contrast media

Facility:

This community hospital operates a dedicated CT department equipped with two scanners and modern imaging technology. The facility supports a high emergency department volume and provides a broad range of CT imaging services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations. The department is well-equipped with industry-standard imaging and PACS systems to support efficient and accurate diagnostic care.
