Opportunity:

Cath Lab Tech / Radiology/Cardiology

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts per week
• Low STEMI call required with on-call rotation every 3rd week, approximately once a week
• Weekend shifts required only when on call
• Patient ratios of 5 patients per day with a daily census of 10
• Work in a 3-room Cath Lab setting serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Charting system: EPIC
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 3 years preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ARRT or RCIS/CCI
• If RCIS certified, SC State License (SCRQSA) and SCBME are required
• SC State License required prior to start
• Must be proficient in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Skills required include: cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, temporary pacemaker, TAVR, rotablator atherectomy, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Additional procedural skills include: angioplasty, aortography, embolization, renal angiography, carotid angiography and stenting, central venous access, dialysis graft interventions, endovascular interventions, EVAR, TEVAR, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, fluoroscopy, and ultrasound
• Must be able to scrub procedures, maintain sterile field, and perform room circulator duties
• Equipment experience with Philips systems preferred
• Candidates may float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Keep time off requests to a minimum, particularly during the first two weeks of assignment; expect to work some holidays
• 50-mile radius rule applies

This facility operates a dedicated Cath Lab specializing in cardiac and vascular procedures for adult and geriatric patients. The department is equipped to handle a wide range of interventional and diagnostic procedures, supported by advanced imaging technology and a multidisciplinary care team. The unit maintains a focused daily census with a structured on-call system to ensure continuous coverage for high-acuity cardiac cases.
