Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technician

Job Details:

• Minimum 18 months of experience in Cath Lab specialty required, 2 years preferred
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours for 12-hour shifts or 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Call is required
• Weekend requirements can be discussed with manager
• Will float within scope to meet facility needs, including floating to all 3 sister facilities within 20 miles
• Scrub color: Ceil Blue
• Charting system: EPIC (experience required)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS
• Preferred certifications: RCVT, RCIS
• Required skills include: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablator Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures, Equipment Setup, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Room Circulator, Sterile Field Maintenance, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Sterile Technique
• EKG and Pharmacology test required during orientation with a maximum of 2 attempts each
• Required modules must be completed prior to start and average 6-15 hours
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation
• 2 references from a direct supervisor, manager, ANM, or director required

This short-term acute care facility operates with 180 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of cardiac care services. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and offers free parking in any unrestricted space.
