Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shift from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Must have 5+ years of nursing experience and at least 1 travel assignment
• MEDITECH experience required
• 1:4 nurse to patient ratio
• Handle approximately 180-200 patient visits per day
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ASLS or NIHSS, CPI
• Caribbean Blue scrubs only
• Must complete ORT (orientation) during week one
• Auto lunch deductions apply
• 2-shift floor specific orientation required
• Charge nurse responsibilities included
• Work with 5-6 nurse aides/paramedics per shift
• Nurses perform own lab draws and start own IVs
• Care for patients from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma cases
• Work in acute care emergency department setting
• 12-hour cancellation policy every 2 weeks
• Driver's license address must be within 75-mile radius and provided with submission

This acute care healthcare facility features a comprehensive emergency department that handles approximately 180-200 patient visits daily. The facility includes a 6-bed behavioral lockdown area staffed by psychiatric professionals, 24/7 respiratory therapy services, and around-the-clock pharmacy coverage. The emergency department is equipped with central monitoring technology and maintains trauma capabilities, serving as a CVA center while providing care ranging from pediatric to geriatric patients.
