Opportunity:

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Day shift hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Option for four 10-hour shifts if 8-hour shifts are difficult to fill
• Variable on-call shifts required (1-2 call shifts per week)
• Variable weekend on-call shifts required (approximately 1 weekend)
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Must be able to conduct interventional assistance with RCIS, RCES, or RT license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• IR tech or EP tech experience preferred
• Experience with Philips Xper FD20 and FD10, Shockwave, Penumbra, and related equipment
• Proficiency with PACs Merge and Meditech EMR systems
• Perform procedures including LHC/RHC, Cardiomems, Shockwave, Penumbra, IABP pump, Impella, PFO Closure, and EKOS
• Hospital-issued scrubs provided
• Must be calm under pressure and flexible

Facility:

This facility features a Cardiac Cath Lab unit located on the second floor of the main building, equipped with two Cath Labs and staffed by a dedicated team of seven healthcare professionals. The unit operates with a collaborative day shift team including registered nurses, Cath Lab Techs, and a Charge Nurse Coordinator, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio to ensure exceptional patient care. The department utilizes advanced technology and equipment and has permanent positions available, reflecting the organization's commitment to long-term staffing and quality patient outcomes.
