Opportunity:

RN - Surgical Center/Pre-Op

Job Details:

• Day shift with options of 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with start times of 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, 7:00 AM-3:00 PM, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
• 3 12-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekend requirement: 8-hour shift (7:00 AM-3:00 PM) on Saturday or Sunday
• 1-2 second on-call shifts per monthly schedule, consisting of a 24-hour call period on a weekend day from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Call response time of 30 minutes required
• Floating to OR holding area may be required
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Work in a preoperative care area handling all procedures including same-day and overnight stays
• Facility handles 55-70 cases per day across 15 suites
• IV skills required
• Surgical care knowledge and robotics experience required
• Scrubbing limited to preoperative care only for RNs
• EMR system is currently Sunrise with EPIC go-live transition upcoming
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Must be within 50-mile radius of facility
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required at time of submission
• Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission
• Required certification: BLS
• BSN not required
