Opportunity:
RN - L&D
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Labor and Delivery unit located on the 5th floor of the main building
• Unit consists of 17 beds with a staff of 56
• Day and night shifts include 1 charge nurse, 5-6 RNs, and 1 OB Scrub Tech
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3, fluctuating based on acuity
• Equipment used includes EFM (TOCCO, US), Doppler, and Novii
• EMR system: Meditech/CPN
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or NCC-EFM
• Meditech experience preferred
• CEFM and RNC-OB certifications preferred
• Willingness to precept preferred
• Typical procedures include labor, C-section, Pitocin (PIT), Magnesium drip, internal assessment (IA), ECV, and cerclage placement
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with staff and providers required
• Exceptional patient experience skills required
