Opportunity:
Multimodality Tech (X-Ray & CT)
Job Details:
• Hybrid dual-location role working between two sites
• Friday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM at main campus in Orangeburg
• Saturday: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM at BBMP location
• Sunday: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM at BBMP location
• On-call rotation required among staff at BBMP only; if shifts are not filled when on call, weekend work may be required
• Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Perform CT scans and radiographic exams of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures
• Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns
• Proficiency with Adult Acute Care and PACS systems required
• Charting system: Epic
• Dress code: Black pants and teal top
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• 1 year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and Computed Tomography required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT (R)(CT), SCRQSA (R)(CT), BLS (AHA), CPR
• Must have satisfactorily completed an AMA approved school of radiological technology and be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association
• Local candidates within 60-mile radius considered on a case-by-case basis
Facility:
This organization operates across two locations, including an acute care hospital and an 11-bed freestanding emergency room equipped with an X-ray room, portable X-ray, and CT capabilities. Each 12-hour shift is staffed by one multimodality technologist, providing focused and essential imaging services to support the surrounding community's healthcare needs.
