Opportunity:
CT Tech
Job Details:
• Travel experience required
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• No block schedules required
• 1 CT tech for 16 beds patient ratio
• Perform a variety of CT scans and X-rays for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics
• CT procedures include CTA heads, chest, and abdomen/pelvis
• Required X-ray procedures: extremities (upper and lower), abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal
• Preferred X-ray experience: surgery/C-arm
• Skills required include: abdomen without and/or with contrast, adult acute care, adult outpatient, cervical, chest without and/or with contrast, emergency department, head without and/or with contrast, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis without and/or with contrast, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, thoracic, and vascular CTA
• Preferred skills include: brain perfusion, PACS, Siemens, and starting peripheral IVs
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• May occasionally float to main campus CT/X-ray
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, Washington State License
• Washington State license or compact license must be in hand at submission
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a well-established medical center offering a comprehensive range of imaging and diagnostic services. The facility operates with 16 rooms and 18 beds, serving approximately 100 patients per day across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. The facility provides interpretation services for interdisciplinary support and is equipped to handle a wide variety of CT and X-ray procedures in a dynamic clinical environment.
