Opportunity:
CT/XRAY Tech
Job Details:
• Monday through Thursday night shift schedule, 4 shifts of 10 hours each
• Shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No on-call required
• No weekends required
• Block schedule required Monday through Thursday
• Perform both CT and X-ray imaging; position is not limited to CT only
• After midnight, tech will be the sole provider on shift performing both CT and X-rays independently
• 1:1 patient ratio expected
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Any color accepted
• At least 1 year of experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• Key skills include CT imaging (with and without contrast), multiplanar reconstruction, 3D rendering, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular CTA, preparation and administration of contrast media, venipuncture, starting peripheral IVs, radiation safety, PACS, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• All RTO and specific scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds and a daily census of approximately 50 patients with around 55 visits per day. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services. No parking fees are required for staff.
