Opportunity:

MS/Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:4/5
• Float between 2 MS/Tele units as needed based on census
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Must be open to floating where most needed without restrictions
• ICU/PCU experience preferred but strong MS/Tele experience will be considered
• Must be comfortable working with standard med surg/tele equipment
• Liko lifts available in almost all patient rooms
• One of the telemetry units has bedside monitors; the other utilizes remote monitoring
• Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry, starting and maintaining IVs, and neuro stepdown
• Serves adult and geriatric patient populations
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

• Must be available to work 2 of the facility's recognized holidays

This short-term acute care teaching facility and Level IV trauma center operates with 87 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility offers robust interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, phlebotomy, and interpretation services.
