Job Details:

• Work Wednesday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM shifts
• Position requires 5-6 on-call shifts per month
• Call shift options available: 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Thursday, or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Sunday nights
• Department is staffed 24/7 with both 10 and 12-hour shifts available
• Patient ratio is 1:1
• EMR system used is Meditech
• Required skills include orthopedics, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, and trauma
• Typical procedures include neuro/spine, orthopedic trauma/total joint/revisions, robotics (GYN, colorectal, thoracic, urology), plastics, and Level 1 trauma
• Scrub color required: ceil blue or royal blue for nurses
• No floating required
• 23-bed operating room unit with a staff of 85+

This facility is a well-established healthcare organization featuring a fully equipped operating room unit with 23 beds and a dedicated staff of over 85 professionals. The department operates 24/7 and supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties including orthopedics, neuro/spine, robotics, plastics, and Level 1 trauma care. The unit maintains a 1:1 patient ratio and utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system, ensuring comprehensive and efficient patient care.
