Opportunity:

RN - L&D

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position located on the 2nd Floor Women's unit in the Main Building
• 13-bed Labor & Delivery unit with a staff of 40
• Night shift minimum staffing: 1 Charge Nurse, 2 RNs, and 1 CST
• Patient ratios are mostly 1:1 following AWHONN Guidelines
• Work with GE EFM equipment and EMR systems CPN and Meditech
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care L&D RN experience required
• Must be able to circulate for C-sections
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Strong OB Triage skills preferred
• Perform triage and evaluation of OB patients, manage labor patients, and oversee recovery of vaginal and C-section deliveries
• Manage induction of labor (IOL) with Cervidil, Cytotec, and Pitocin
• Self-scheduling available
• Must be a team player as this is a small but busy unit
