Opportunity:
RRT - Req 10614
Job Details:
• Block scheduling required
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• Position will float between units
• 48-hour shifts approved
• Responsibilities include floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
• Patient ratios depend on acuity
• Treats patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Preferred patient diagnoses experience: pediatrics and adolescents
• At least 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
• Scrub color: any color
• Charting system: Epic
• Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
• Required skills include: aerosol setup, BiPAP, CPAP, extubation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nitric oxide (INo), tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, rapid response, and emergency department experience
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
Facility:
This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. With 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds, it is a large teaching hospital offering a wide range of specialized services including a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU. The facility uses Epic for charting and offers no-fee parking for staff.
