Opportunity:
RN - Labor and Delivery
Job Details:
• Rotating shift schedule with various days of the week
• 12-hour shifts with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Weekend shifts required per unit needs - approximately 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• On-call required per unit needs
• Float required within Women and Infant Unit
• May be required to float within metro region per facility needs
• Work in a Women's and Infants Labor and Delivery Unit with 19 rooms
• Self-scheduling model
• Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Navy
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience required; previous travel experience preferred
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate
• Colorado or Compact RN license required
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
• RTO is not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2 – September 12, 2026; October 25 – November 4, 2026; November 22 – December 2, 2026; December 20 – January 3, 2027
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Key clinical skills include: labor and delivery, cesarean section, magnesium sulfate therapy, fetal monitoring, postpartum hemorrhage management, Pitocin administration, epidural anesthesia support, and triage of obstetrical patients

This facility is a large, well-established health system offering comprehensive women's and infants' services within a dedicated Labor and Delivery unit featuring 19 private rooms. The organization provides extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response teams, and interpretation services, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for both patients and clinical staff.
