Opportunity:

CT/X-Ray Technologist

Job Details:

• Produce emergent and routine diagnostic images using fixed and portable X-ray equipment
• Produce routine and emergent diagnostic images using CT Room
• Adjust exposure settings for proper image acquisition
• Adjust patient positioning to acquire the best images based on anatomical structures
• Adjust table and radiation beam to minimize radiation exposure in accordance with ALARA principles
• Process images in PACS for the Radiologist
• Complete exams per Radiologist protocols
• Document, charge, and process using electronic medical records
• Schedule patients for appointments in X-ray, CT, MRI, US, DXA, and Holter Monitor
• Inform and assist patients with contrast media administration for CT exams
• Participate in quality control concerning equipment, radiation safety, and patient safety
• Ensure exams are completed in a timely and correct manner
• Provide customer service to patients and staff
• Rotation of call and weekends required
• Required credential: R.T.(R)(ARRT)
• Preferred experience: 1 year of experience working as a CT technologist
• Must demonstrate skills and knowledge in radiographic procedures, principles of radiation physics, and human anatomy and physiology
