Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2215.96

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, occasionally 1:3 with patients ready to leave ICU
• Float policy: travelers float first to ED and step down units
• On-call only when census drops, otherwise no call required
• Advanced skills required: ventilator management, ABG interpretation, vasoactive drip titration, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Procedures performed on unit include intubations, central line placement, bronchoscopies, bedside trach, and PEG tube placements
• Equipment used includes Aleris pumps, GE monitors, Edwards EV1000 and CCO, Prismalflex CRRT, and Cardiohelp ECMO
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Required certifications: RN License, ACLS, BLS
• Welcome certifications: TNCC, NIH, ABLS
• Required uniform: Navy blue scrubs

Facility:

This facility is a 29-bed general ICU located within a Level 2 trauma center. The unit features an active heart program performing approximately 200 cases per year, along with capabilities for CRRT, Impella, IABP, and ECMO. The facility also houses a burn center and maintains an experienced ICU staff with an average of 12 years of experience, reflecting a commitment to high-quality critical care.
