Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
• 3 x 12-hour night shifts; 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend-only schedule: every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• 36 hours offered per week
• 1:1 patient ratio on nights and weekends
• Call requirement: Yes, participates in call rotation on a 6-7 week rotation
• No float requirement
• 10 hours of unit orientation
• Scrubs not provided; royal blue required
• Charting system: Epic (required) and email
• Scheduling type: Blocked; Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Must have Siemens CT scanner experience as the traveler will be working alone
• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
• Required equipment experience: PACS, Siemens
• Required work settings: Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, Pediatric Acute Care
• Required skills include: Abdomen and Pelvis with and without contrast, Chest without and/or with contrast, Vascular chest (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta), Head and Neck (carotid, head with and/or without contrast, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head), Multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), Region of interest measurement (ROI), Isolation Precautions, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture, and Spine and Musculoskeletal (cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, thoracic)
• Preferred skills include: 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering), Vascular CTA, Adult Outpatient, and Pediatric Outpatient experience
• Interview required; candidate must provide availability for the next 72 hours upon submission
Facility:
This healthcare facility is a large inpatient unit with 48 beds and a daily census of 25 patients. The facility serves a wide range of patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available through respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy, ensuring a comprehensive and collaborative care environment.
