Opportunity:
Radiology Tech - CT/X-Ray
Job Details:
• Work in a radiology department equipped with 1 CT, 1 Trauma X-ray, 1 Fluoroscopy/X-ray room, and 2 Portable units
• Day shift includes 1 Lead Technologist and 3-4 Multi-Modality Technologists covering CT and X-ray
• Night shift and weekend shifts each staffed by 1 Multi-Modality Technologist covering CT and X-ray
• Perform all types of CT procedures (excluding Cardiac) and CT guided biopsies
• Perform full range of Trauma Radiology, Fluoroscopy, and C-Arm cases
• Float between CT, X-ray, and Fluoroscopy as needed
• Must have experience performing routine CT and CTA exams
• Must have experience with GE X-ray units and CT scanners (all digital radiology)
• Working knowledge of Cerner/PowerChart and Phillips Intellispace PACS preferred
• Prior radiology travel assignment experience preferred
• Required certifications: R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) and BLS
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
• Must be a friendly, considerate team player with ability to work independently
• Must be compassionate and considerate to the needs of patients and co-workers
Facility:
This facility is a community hospital located in western North Carolina, providing a full range of medical services including a well-equipped radiology department. The imaging department utilizes all GE digital radiology equipment and operates with a collaborative team of 22 staff members across multiple shifts. The facility uses Cerner/PowerChart as its EMR system alongside Phillips Intellispace PACS, supporting a wide variety of imaging and diagnostic procedures.
