Opportunity:
Multimodality Tech (CT/X-Ray)
Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call required
• May float to like units within scope to meet facility needs
• 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted but not preferred
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (C), SCRQSA, BLS, and ACLS (pending accepted if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire)
• South Carolina license required; candidates with pending license will be considered with proof of application
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Experience highly preferred in emergency, trauma, pediatrics, orthopedic exams in both modalities, Siemens equipment, Epic, and PACS
• Radiation badge must be provided by agency
• Scrub color: Teal blue top, black bottoms
• Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only; one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
• Provide quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure competency in procedures performed
• Produce images for interpretation and/or at the request of a licensed practitioner
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work with Siemens X-ray and Siemens CT equipment
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks for guaranteed hours
• 60-mile radius rule applies; locals considered on a case-by-case basis
Facility:
This is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 total staffed beds. The facility provides a wide range of specialty services and supports interdisciplinary care including interpretation services and radiology. The imaging department primarily serves an adult population with some pediatric cases and handles a diverse mix of diagnoses including STEMI, stroke/CVA, cardiac, and trauma cases, along with some outpatient procedures.
