Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Telemetry

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit on the 7th floor of the main hospital
• Patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; Friday and Saturday for night shifts, Saturday and Sunday for day shifts
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9 RN/LPN, and 3 PCT
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RN/LPN, and 3 PCT
• Experience required recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips
• NIH certification preferred
• Work with equipment including Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allen Vitals machines
• EMR system: Meditech
• Float to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU as needed
• Grey scrubs required for RNs
• Required certification: ACLS
• Ideal candidate is a fast-paced, high energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork
