Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Telemetry

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit (7N) with patient ratios of 4 to 5:1
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 9 RN/LPN, and 3 PCT
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 8 RN/LPN, and 3 PCT
• 3 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule; Friday and Saturday for night shift, Saturday and Sunday for day shift
• Experience recovering post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH certification preferred
• Utilize equipment including Pyxis, Alaris pumps, and Welch Allen Vitals machines
• Document using Meditech EMR system
• Grey scrubs required for RNs
• May float to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
• Fast-paced, high energy individual with a strong sense of teamwork preferred

The unit is equipped with modern medical technology and supports a wide range of cardiac care needs, including telemetry monitoring, post-cath recovery, pacemaker placements, and stroke care. The facility maintains a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and high-quality patient outcomes.
