Opportunity:

CT Tech - Radiology

Job Details:

• Weekend day shift schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Float to X-ray as needed
• Two techs staffed per shift covering X-ray and CT for the ED and inpatients
• Some patient transport involved to and from the ED
• Radiologists are staffed off-site and available for questions during shift hours
• Utilize Epic - Radiant for radiology charting; minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Perfect Serve secure paging system used to communicate with radiologists
• Primary stroke center environment
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the field required; first-time travelers considered based on experience
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT R, ARRT CT, BLS, and SC Radiology license
• Required skills include: abdomen with/without contrast, chest with/without contrast, head with/without contrast, pelvis with/without contrast, musculoskeletal trauma, vascular chest imaging, preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, isolation precautions/PPE, and starting peripheral IVs
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies

This healthcare facility is a primary stroke center offering comprehensive radiology services including X-ray and CT imaging for both emergency department and inpatient populations. The facility operates with advanced imaging technology including Siemens equipment and utilizes a fully integrated digital communication and charting system to support collaborative care between on-site and off-site clinical staff.
