Opportunity:

RN MS/TELE - Medical ACUTE CARE UNIT

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Various days of the week scheduled
• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
• First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met
• On-call required per unit needs
• Floating required to MS and MS/Telemetry units and may float to sister facilities within the Metro region based on facility needs
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period; Friday counts as a weekend shift for night shift
• Patient ratios: 1:5 on day shift and 1:6-1:7 on night shift; ratios may flex based on staffing and unit needs
• Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
• Charting system: Epic experience required
• Scrub color: Navy
• 36-bed inpatient medicine telemetry unit providing care to patients with acute and chronic medical diagnoses
• Patient population: Adults with diagnoses including COPD, CHF, Diabetes, Pneumonia, Falls, UTI, Post-Op, GI Bleed, Cellulitis, Abscess, Withdrawal, and CKD
• Required skills include: Blood product administration, central line blood draw, heparin management, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), insulin administration, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, telemetry monitoring, PICC line management, IV placement and maintenance, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and PCA management
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Required certifications: AHA BLS
• Colorado or Compact RN license required
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
• RTO not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2 – September 12, 2026; October 25 – November 4, 2026; November 22 – December 2, 2026; December 20 – January 3, 2027
