Opportunity:

Radiology - CT Technologist

Job Details:

• Variable schedule working 4x10 hour day shifts
• Work in CT and X-ray departments within a moderately busy, full-service imaging department
• Department averages approximately 80 exams per day
• Primarily outpatient and emergency department patient traffic
• Some operating room cases including pacemakers and orthopedic procedures
• Required to perform portables, C-arm, extremities, abdominal GI, fluoroscopy studies, lower and upper extremities, enema studies, and surgery C-arm procedures
• Preferred experience with thoracentesis and paracentesis
• Skills required include CT procedures such as abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, cervical, thoracic, vascular CTA, multiplanar reconstruction, musculoskeletal trauma, and myelography
• Experience with Philips imaging systems and PACS preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience required
• Fluoroscopy permit must be in hand prior to submission - this is a hard stop requirement
• Required certifications: ARRT-CT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit in hand
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility

The department is equipped to handle a wide range of imaging procedures including CT, X-ray, and fluoroscopy studies, as well as operating room cases such as pacemaker placements and orthopedic procedures.
