Opportunity:

TRAVEL - CT Tech (726) - Wesley Woodlawn - 7A -3:30P

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Weekend CT shifts run 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM when coverage is needed
• Work on the 1st floor of a 64-bed adult hospital with a 12-bed adult ICU and 14-bed emergency department
• Perform a mixture of CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, and pelvis scans
• Perform CTA chest, neck, and abdomen studies
• Perform occasional CTA cardiac studies
• Perform CT lumbar/thoracic spine and CT Head stroke protocol
• Majority of patients are adult ED patients with some possible pediatric scans
• Operate Siemens Somatom Plus 128 slice CT scanner
• Use EMR Meditech and FUJI Synapse PACS system
• Ability to back up X-ray tech when X-ray tech is in the OR preferred
• Work independently and problem solve as needed
• Minimum 6 months CT Tech experience required
• CT registration with ARRT required
• KSBHA license required
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• 2-3+ years of CT experience preferred
• Black scrubs required (not provided)

This facility is a small 64-bed adult hospital with a family-friendly atmosphere that includes a 12-bed adult ICU and a 14-bed emergency department. The imaging department is well-equipped and maintains a comprehensive guideline book and resources to help new staff orient quickly. The facility is easy to navigate and fosters a collaborative environment where staff work well across departments.
