Opportunity:

RN - MS/Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts with availability for both day shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• Weekend requirement based on unit needs and demands
• Holiday requirement with 2 out of 3 major holidays required
• No standing call or standby requirement; on an as-needed basis per census
• Patient ratios of 1:4-6 with nurse aide support at 1:8-16
• 96-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit on the 3rd floor
• Common diagnoses include CHF, COPD, pneumonia, general surgical, stroke, and cardiac patients
• Required to titrate drips including Heparin
• All beds are telemetry capable with monitor techs; RNs validate, read, and document strips
• Floating requirements apply; all RNs are susceptible to floating within their scope of practice
• Scrub color requirement: Navy top and bottom
• Unit-specific orientation consists of 3 shifts coordinated with the onboarding process
• Charting system: EPIC
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required with telemetry experience
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Washington State or Compact nursing license required
• BSN not required

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a 96-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit equipped with full telemetry capabilities across all beds. The facility provides comprehensive support services including charge nurses and house supervisors, as well as monitor technicians to assist nursing staff. The organization maintains a structured cancellation policy and coordinates a thorough onboarding and orientation process for all incoming clinical staff.
