Opportunity:

RN - Gynecologic Oncology Clinic

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• Role is open to true travel or temp-to-perm arrangements
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Open to RNs with experience in SICU, OR, PACU, Post-Op, Gynecologic Oncology, Triage, OBGYN, or Oncology
• Solely L&D or Obstetric experience does not qualify for this role
• Ideal candidate holds Gynecology, Oncology, and Surgical experience
• Perform telephone and EPIC messaging triage for medication reactions, surgical outcomes, and symptoms of potential recurrence
• Provide pre- and post-operative education and patient assessment
• Support patient safety throughout the treatment course
• Clinic sees 30–40 patients daily; nurse visits generally do not exceed 3–6 per day
• Experience with voiding trials and central line/port flushes is a plus
• No chemotherapy administration or infusion responsibilities in this role
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, WA or Compact RN license
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Locals within 50 miles accepted
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
• 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This outpatient specialty clinic supports a team of four Gynecologic Oncologists, one benign GYN surgeon, and four Advanced Practice Providers. Providers divide their time evenly between the operating room and clinic settings. The clinic treats a high-needs patient population with diagnoses including cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, peritoneal carcinomatosis, pelvic mass, adnexal cysts, and genetic mutations. The facility is committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care throughout each patient's treatment journey.
