Opportunity:

RN - GYN Oncology Clinic

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No weekend shifts required
• No on-call required
• Position is open to true travel or temp-to-perm candidates
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Open to RNs with experience in SICU, OR, PACU, Post-Op, Gynecologic Oncology, Triage, OBGYN, or Oncology
• Solely L&D or obstetric-only experience does not qualify for this role
• Ideal candidate holds Gynecology, Oncology, and Surgical experience
• Perform telephone and EPIC message triage for medication reactions, surgical outcomes, and potential recurrence symptoms
• Provide pre- and post-operative education and patient assessment
• Support a clinic of 4 GYN Oncologists, one benign GYN surgeon, and 4 APPs
• Clinic sees 30–40 patients daily; nurse visits generally do not exceed 3–6 per day
• Patient population includes diagnoses such as cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, peritoneal carcinomatosis, pelvic mass, adnexal cyst, and genetic mutations
• No chemotherapy administration or infusion responsibilities in this role
• Experience with voiding trials and central line/port flushes is a plus
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
• Required certifications: BLS, WA or Compact RN license
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
