**Job Description:**

- **Number of Beds:** 40
- **Staffing Overview:**
- **Day Shift:**
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 10 Bedside Nurses
- 4 Patient Care Technicians
- 1 Unit Secretary
- **Night Shift:**
- 1 Charge Nurse
- 10 Bedside Nurses
- 3 Patient Care Technicians
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 (stretch staffing at 1:5)

- **Patient Population:**
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- Chest Pain (CP)
- Arrhythmias
- Pulmonary Hypertension
- Valvular Disease
- Endocarditis
- Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA)
- Post Cardiac Catheterization/Stent
- Post Pacer/ICD/Ablation

- **Equipment Utilized:**
- Zoll Monitor
- Baxter Pump
- Lift Equipment
- Bladder Scanner
- EMR - Cerner

- **Ideal Candidate's Skill Set:**
- **Must Have:**
- Stepdown or Progressive Care Experience
- Telemetry Experience
- Proficient with Titratable Cardiac IV Medications (e.g., Nitroglycerin, Cardizem, Amiodarone)
- **Preferred:**
- Experience with Prostacyclins (Flolan, Veletri, Remodulin)
- Relief Charge Experience

- **Typical Procedures Performed:**
- Bedside Cardioversion

- BLS
- ACLS

- All MedSurg Units

- Scrub Color: All White or All Navy Blue or White Top with Navy Blue Pants

- **Schedule:**
- Every Other Weekend

- **Contract Details:**
- Number of Positions: 1
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Contract Weeks: 91
