**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurses in Labor & Delivery!**

**Job Description:**

- 12-hour day shifts (36 hours/week)
- 8-week contract with ASAP start dates
- Work in a renowned Level II Trauma Teaching Hospital

**Requirements:**

- Active CA RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D) setting
- Active NRP certification
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification or equivalent

**Additional Qualifications:**

- No current or prior discipline on professional license
- No felony convictions other than minor traffic violations

**Submission Requirements:**

- Updated resume with current name, work history (last 7 years), and educational background
- Completed skills checklist within one year of submission
- Two professional references from recent work history (one must be a supervisor)

**Onboarding Process:**

- Weekly orientation on Mondays
- Orientation includes paperwork completion, badge issuance, respiratory fit testing, and unit training
- Medication test required on the first day

**Facility Highlights:**

- 8 LDR, 2 Triage, 2 OR, and 2 PACU beds
- Cares for high-risk patients with established safety protocols
- Follows AWHONN standards for staffing ratios

**Miscellaneous:**

- Self-scheduling available within Women’s Services
- Orientation includes 3-4 unit-specific shifts before taking on patients
- Scrubs provided for travelers in L&D
