**Exciting Opportunity for Registered Nurses in Labor & Delivery!**

**Job Description:**

- Join a dynamic team in a **172 bed, Level II Trauma Teaching Hospital** renowned for its excellence in patient care!

- **Schedule:**
- 12-hour night shifts, working **3 shifts per week** (36 hours/week).
- Flexible compliance for quick start dates.

- **Orientation:**
- Weekly orientations on **Mondays**.
- Comprehensive orientation process with **clinical preceptors**.

- **Patient Care:**
- Engage with a diverse patient population, including high-risk due to a high diabetic demographic.
- **1:1 nursing** care ratio for patients at 6cm or greater dilation, on magnesium or insulin drips.

- **Department Details:**
- **8 LDR rooms**, **2 Triage (serving as Pre-Op for C-Sections)**, **2 ORs**, **2 PACU beds**.
- Fetal surveillance using **OBIX** and charting via **Meditech** and **Pyxis** for medication administration.

- **Requirements:**
- Active **California RN license**.
- Current **BLS and ACLS** (American Heart Association).
- **Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)** certification.
- **AWHONN Fetal Monitoring** certification or equivalent.
- Minimum **2 years of experience** in L&D setting.
